Interim NPD Manager

Job Description

An experienced NPD Manager is required for a one year period to cover maternity leave.

It is vital that as a Manager you have managed a team and have a proven track record of delivering innovation working closely with your customers, aware of their business needs and commercial constraints enabling a proactive approach. Experience of working in an ambient or chilled, coatings or sauce environment is a prerequisite. Exposure to branded leading restaurant chains or major retail clients is also vital. You will need to work with pace, leading a team of c.6, a resourceful and lateral thinker who can deliver solutions working cross functionally with clarity. There must be a strong financial and commercial awareness, and how these impact on the business and with clients. A finely tuned technical knowledge, a sound understanding of the complete development process with experience of plant trials and application processes and able to relay this to clients to meet their needs across a number of product portfolios. This is a very competitive environment and you will need to engage and deliver confidence to a very demanding client who is a key account with high expectations for quick turn around times and innovation expectations.

This role is due to begin mid February.
