Engineering Manager

Job Description

Our client is a leading processor of frozen vegetables in the UK, currently enjoying huge growth and driving heavy investment through the business. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of this investment and change process.

We are looking for an experienced, driven, pro-active and flexible Engineering Manager for this extremely fast paced and hands on role. You will be a strong team player, capable of motivating and managing an established team and driving change, implementing Lean and Continuous Improvement techniques and injecting a pro-active and flexible approach throughout this department. You will have the vision to implement strong PPM systems, review existing engineering systems and assist with CAPEX projects to ensure the facility is in line with future growth plans. You will have a strong understanding of fresh food manufacturing engineering processes and will have the experience and understanding to oversee the Refrigeration Engineers alongside your teams.

With a heavy emphasis on seasonal harvesting, you will have a flexible approach to deal with the speed and urgency of these periods.
