Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Manager to join this progressive, forward thinking and growing business.  Our client operates in the chilled bakery sector, supplying short shelf life products into the major UK retailers.  They are looking for an experienced and pragmatic Technical Manager to lead this large and complex site, preferably with technical experience within this sector, encompassing high care.  You will understand the science of bakery and have the expertise to drive your department to high levels of excellence.  You will have proven strong managerial skills and will be confident in demonstrating how you have driven change through your team whilst maintaining the highest of quality standards.  Your role will involve building strong relationships with other operational departments and taking an active role in the NPD process.  You will also have budgetary plus internal and external auditing experience.
