Job Description

This is a rare opportunity to join a growing food manufacturer. As Planning Manager your role is diverse and exciting. You will be managing the Planning Department including replenishment to enable maximum business profitability; you will understand the capacity of the factory and manage the expectations of the customer, whilst ensuring that customer service is paramount. To be a success in this role you must have a proven track record in a proven senior planning role and an understanding of planning IT systems, replenishment and short shelf life food manufacture. You should be someone who proactively demonstrates a real customer ethos with senior people and retailers and has a strong desire to deliver more than is expected. You must have excellent management skills, with the ability to manage a team and generate enthusiasm throughout and beyond their work group. You will be highly resilient and tenacious, outwardly positive to customer at all times with the ability to lead, manage and develop a team.
