Fantastic opportunity for an Operations and Manufacturing specialist, to manage all operational processes from raw materials though production to despatch and warehousing.
This food manufacturer is experiencing growth and has a plan for capital investment this year. In this Operations Manager role, you will deliver strong and coherent leadership throughout the site, to drive best practice and operating standards.
You will have an appreciation of latest manufacturing and operational techniques having implemented and delivered business improvement through Lean principles.
This is not a Manufacturing Manager role for a theorist though, we need a pragmatic results oriented Factory Manager who will galvanise a team of disparate cultures with clear motivational management techniques and KPIs. This business works at a rapid pace and part of our selection criteria is chilled high risk, short shelf life experience.
We will want to see demonstrable ability to operate flexibly and quickly to change to get to the issues and make things happen.
To be considered you will have a successful track record gained from a chilled, retailer focused business environment, in which you have managed large teams and delivered true operational competitive advantage.
We are looking for a Business Manager of the future and you should have the ambition and ability to progress to a Site GM role within the next couple of years.
