Manufacturing Project Manager

Job Description

This role is looking at the implementation of projects at the site.
·Recognised as the primary point of reference when a proposed business change is ready to be executed within the Manufacturing Category
·Engage with key stakeholders at the earliest stage possible to secure the definition and implementation for business change projects.
·Lead the integration of the given business change activities
·Own and shape the integrated change plan. Ensure that it is aligned to reflect current business needs and supports delivery of the business/manufacturing category contract.
·Communicate with key stakeholders on the total level of change that would result from implementation of the integrated change plan and secure their engagement to shape and ultimately deliver an agreed plan as appropriate
·Evaluate and articulate the level of risk that the Manufacturing Category is likely to introduce as a consequence of implementing the integrated change plan
·Constructively challenge and ensure alignment between key stakeholders when it is considered that the integrated change plan introduces an unacceptable level of risk
·Champion the optimum utilisation of the assets of a given Manufacturing Category within the boundaries of both its current and projected future capability.
·Identify areas of potential conflict and recommend alternative scenarios
·Promote best practice methodologies for project management & ways of working and inspire others to apply them to their own
