Development Chef

Job Description

An experienced NPD Chef is required to join a leading chilled ready meal company that develops for multiple retail clients.  For this role it is vital that the Chef has experience of a manufacturing site and is able to cope with pace and complexity in products.  As a key member of the NPD Team you will interface with other functions on a very regular basis therefore you must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication sills to deal with personnel at all levels. 

Your will need to be knowledgeable regarding food tends, and differing cuisines – be creative and resourceful able to deliver within brief yet know how to utilise your culinary flair to excite the customer.  You will work directly with customers presenting on a regular basis.  You will need to understand and work with the site’s USPs to maximise site potential.  You will need to be an organised individual with a proactive mindset that keeps up to date with restaurant and competitor trends filtering this back to the business, identifying potential business opportunities.
