Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join this fast paced food manufacturer. With responsibility for effectively managing the day to day production of the retail packing unit, you will have a mentoring and motivational management style and will be able to manage a team through your strong people skills. You will need energy, enthusiasm and a huge 'can do' attitude with the initiative to lead quickly and efficiently to achieve, maintain and improve targets. On a day-to-day basis, you will be accountable for the effective, efficient and economic management of the packing process ensuring highly effective team development at all times and customer product specification achievement, whilst under the constraints of cost, hygiene, quality and safety. You will also have some experience in the logistics arena with the ability to effectively assist the distribution manager. The ideal candidate will have experience within leadership in a food-manufacturing environment.
