Job Description

This is a broadly based generalist senior HR role within the food manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have direct experience of working within manufacturing, understanding the needs a factory operation place upon the HR resource of the business.

The role will be a mix of strategic planning and operational delivery. It will work in close conjunction with Operational, Commercial and Finance colleagues on the Exec Team, contributing to the overall business planning process and the achievement of key objectives.

There is only a small team reporting in, so the right candidate will feel comfortable with a degree of hands-on involvement in the day to day HR issues facing the business.

To be a success in this environment you need to be an energetic and lively individual who leads in a visible and highly motivational manner. The pace of the business is very fast so a flexible approach coupled with speedy thinking and response is required.

Reporting into the Managing Director, this appointment is a job creation so is a great opportunity for someone to help develop their own remit.
