Job Description

Our client are looking for a bright, dynamic, well organised individual with a track record of vendor managed inventory based within the retailer. You will be responsible for ordering stock to hit deadlines, to ensure full shelf allocation, removal of obsolete stock and have a close eye on market changes in your category. Being in-plant at the Head Office store you will be responsible for your stock category across all stores. You will need to be statistical, technologically and analytically accomplished, using Management Information Systems to set sales estimates across category/product levels and deliver accuracy levels on availability, waste and stock allocation targets. You will be confident with a professional approach. Ability to engage and influence is essential in this highly autonomous role. Due to their effective succession planning there are numerous opportunities to progress within this major corporate player in the food industry.
