Operations Manager (shift based)

Job Description

In this position, you will lead and manage a manufacturing unit with accountability for a 24/7 operation. This role gives you responsibility for running a chilled food manufacture factory. You will need to be able to demonstrate experience of managing day-to-day operations from goods-in to despatch, running a lean manufacturing operation and providing leadership to a large workforce. Previous experience as a Operations Manager or Senior Production Manager in a chilled added value environment would be a distinct advantage. You must demonstrate the ability to get buy in from the team, encourage idea generation and most importantly - deliver results. An experienced and successful production professional, you must have the drive, determination and resilience to make a real difference. Ideally you will have proven manufacturing management experience, with proven ability to leading and develop a team of at least, educated to a minimum of A level standard you will have the ability to analyse performance information and manage by KPIs.

The shift pattern Sun - Thurs 5pm - 1am
