Despatch Team Manager

Job Description

Our client is part of a large food manufacturer, this role is part of the Despatch Team and reports to the Despatch Manager. The job is to ensure excellent customer service is achieved.

The client is looking for: -
·Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
·Previous experience of managing a team.
·Positive attitude and approach

You would co-ordinate with the Despatch Manager, Team Leader and operators to ensure the smooth operation of logistics and the operations team.

Your KPI measurements would be labour, customer claims, turnaround times, stock adjustments and customer service.

You would need to efficiently manage and control all materials handling equipment, pump trucks, pallet wrap machine, infrastructure repairs and transport to achieve, and continually improve the Despatch function
