Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager or Operations Manager with chilled foods experience (ideally multi component manufacturing) to have an immediate impact at Board level. From day one you will have the opportunity to really assist in developing this 24/7 chilled foods business by not just transforming site performance and standards but also by suggesting and introducing new products within a site that is at 50% capacity and has over 25 acres of unrestricted land to build on.

Reporting to the MD the key perquisites are that you are a highly focused chilled foods Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager, Factory Manager or General Manager looking for an opportunity to totally immerse yourself into a role where you can see your input really make a huge impression on the growth of a business.

Your key responsibilities will involve providing leadership and direction to the Operational teams, specifically Production, Logistics and Planning. You will develop and manage the day to day activities in the factory to meet daily and weekly KPIs whilst maintaining and increasing production efficiencies and site performance. You will also lead continuous improvement teams to drive forward changes in plant / process / products and maintain and develop a quality conscious and technically sound workplace culture.

Commitment, drive and a 'can do'/'make it happen' attitude are key factors that will attract your successful application alongside your success within the chilled foods sector at Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Factory Manager or General Manager level.
