Job Description

Our client is a countrywide FMCG food manufacturer with over 20 sites. They are seeking an energetic Technical Director as part of their succession planning for the future. This new role will develop, implement and maintain management approaches, which will ensure that all site activities comply with established technical standards. In addition the person will lead the Group's Customer Technical Account Management and Operational Quality Improvement functions within Operations and Supply Chain for all the UK sites in the development of Company technical strategy, policies and standards. You must be an effective Senior Manager, with the vision to build, develop and lead the Group's Technical team to support their accelerating sales growth. You will be a technical professional, with a mixture of retailer and food manufacturing experience at a senior/directorship level, and have the ability to develop effective relations across key internal and external customers.
