Junior Production Manager

Job Description

Our client is amongst the industry leaders in their field and operate in an extremely fast paced and seasonal food environment, where the demands are high and the pace relentless - they are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can take this in their stride! Having worked in a production or engineering capacity within a food manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for co-ordinating raw material supply through to finished bulk goods to the cold-store. You will have approximately 50 reports through 3-4 team leaders and will be measured on KPIs including Process yield, Quality and Utilisation (OE).

Out of season, the focus will turn to Continuous Improvement over the process and you will need an appreciation of engineering to drive through the overhaul and maintenance plan. The successful individual will be a self-starter with a huge amount of self-motivation and vision to see the business goals of the future and have the tenacity and determination to achieve them. This is a physically and mentally demanding role where a cool head and the ability to make quick decisions will be essential.
