Assistant Planner (Packaging) - Food Manufacturing

Job Description

Working for a large multi site profit making food manufacturer, you will support the Planning Manager to ensure the packaging scheduling function applies best practice consistently across all site-based operations.

You will responsible for managing stock levels to ensure no stock-outs, purchasing at most economic order sizes whilst managing exposure to obsolescence and working capital tied up in inventory. You will ensure all packaging stock usages are reconciled and costs recovered and there is 100% availability on all core lines.

We are seeking an experienced planner/scheduler with strong communication skills. It is essential you have an enquiring mind and excellent Excel skills. This role would also suit a Graduate with strong analytical skills.
