Engineering Manager

Job Description

This senior Engineering appointment is within a business unit of a leading UK food group. Sitting on the senior team, you will be accountable for the development and delivery of the engineering plan, working in close conjunction with senior manufacturing management colleagues. You must have a good working understanding of TPM, RCM and PLC activity, and have first hand experience of building, leading and developing Engineering teams. Your Can Do attitude will be needed to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced production environment. You will also manage small on-site projects and work with contractors and other personnel on any larger capex issues. Continuous Improvement will be at the top of your personal agenda and you will see the development and achievement of testing KPIs as the way forward. The client is ideally looking for someone with food manufacturing experience from a highly automated product sector.
