Development Technologist

Job Description

A fast paced chilled food manufacturer requires a Development Technologist with a relevant food related degree. Ideally you will have at least two years experience of working in a process/product development team within the chilled food industry, and preferably produce focussed, good organisational and interpersonal skills. Reporting to the Product Manager you will you will help develop products from initial concept to hand over to the Process Development team to expected timescales and margins and to support the Process Development team until launch. There will be regular involvement in factory trials therefore working hours may sometimes be required outside the norm. Effective communication skills, and the ability to compile information and presentations is key. An enthusiastic personality with the ability to influence and motivate colleagues from all disciplines is required.
