Category Marketing Manager

Job Description

As Category Marketing Manager you will deliver the overall site Category / Business Plan by working with the Commercial Director and Business Managers to devise and implement category strategies and plans in order to achieve budgeted sales and profit targets. You will work closely with retail customers helping with merchandising and planogram activity and will build strong relationships with your key contacts.

It is essential you can point to a successful track record of category development with the major multiples specifically with the development of their category planogram activity. You will be able to appreciate the different demands of the various major multiple markets in which the business operates and deliver differing solutions for all of them.

You will also be able to demonstrate an understanding of the whole business from a commercial, innovation and manufacturing point of view and influence at a senior level, internally and externally. Be able to translate both the customer's desire to the business and manufacturing constraints to the customer. Self driven and motivated, you will educated to a degree level or equivalent and have passion, personality and presence to make a positive and valuable contribution to the success of our client.
