Process Technologist

Job Description

As Process Technologist, you are responsible for optimising and adapting existing and new production processes, with focus on higher output, better quality and/or lowering production costs, location Zaandam (The Netherlands).

In order to further strengthen the European leading nuts and peanuts plant in Zaandam, we are currently searching for a highly skilled Process Technologist.

 

Position

·           Responsible for optimising and adapting existing and new production processes, with focus on higher output, better quality and/or lowering production costs

·           Initiating, coordinating and implementing projects and activities in optimisation and innovation of processes

·           Functional and conceptual designing and developing of new investments and assessing feasibility

·           Solving of occurring production problems (trouble shooting) as a result of technological or technical deviations

·           Collaborating with colleagues from R&D, Engineering, Production and Process Technology and other European PepsiCo sites

·           Building and maintaining an external network with several suppliers of equipment, ingredients and contractors

·           Reporting to the Manager Engineering & Technology

 

Profile

·           Master’s degree in Food Technology, Process Technology, Chemical Engineering or similar

·           Several years of relevant work experience, covering process technology and/or development

·           Capable of determining needs and proactively anticipating on these needs

·           Excellent project management and interpersonal skills

·           Good influencing skills and able to win support

·           Effective in communication, in English as well as in Dutch

·           Personal skills: independent, decisive, self-confident, innovative, analytical, team player and pragmatic.
