Process Improvement Manager

Job Description

This is a new role for an established chilled dessert business looking to improve efficiency and reduce waste from all processes. You will need to identify issues surrounding both process and product in order to recommend and implement process and product changes, to deliver and drive an improved business performance. To pro-actively find new innovative process ideas that will enhance product quality and reduce manufacturing costs, work closely with the development teams in recommending changes and reformulating NPD recipes where possible to increase manufacturing efficiency through the factory whilst maintaining the product quality and customer expectations. A good problem solver who will overcome challenges delivering solutions. Establish good relationships with all functions to ensure that the right level of engagement and involvement for process improvement is gained. Reporting into the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for a small team and provide support to the Production and Engineering departments in technical aspects of plant modifications and process changes. You will need at least five years experience of process design, commissioning and improvement. Familiar with Process control techniques. An obvious team player who is results driven, with persuasive and directive communication skills
