Job Description

A Business Development Manager is required for one of the most respected suppliers of kitchen equipment, tableware and uniforms to the hospitality trade in the UK and Internationally. The role will be home based but cover a patch from Birmingham to Cumbria. Our client places a huge amount of emphasis on relationship building; this is why their business is so successful and has sustained their prime pole position for a considerable number of years. Their Sales team are able to speak with first hand knowledge of kitchen and restaurant therefore it is imperative that the successful candidate comes from a hospitality background; front or back of house. The role would be exceptionally suited to a Senior Chef looking for a new career avenue or an individual who has had managerial responsibilities front of house. You will be required to work on your own initiative, with a strong support and dedicated resource back at HQ who will manage most aspects of the paperwork - it will be your task to build up a customer base and effectively account manage, maximising sales potential identifying customer needs and deliver solutions offering a bespoke service. You will, with time be expected to have your 'finger on the pulse' in your area seeking out new clients. Your approach will need to be personable and most certainly results driven.
