Purchasing & Planning Manager

Job Description

This role is primarily going to suit an experienced Purchasing professional who has a strong and demonstrable track record in developing robust purchasing systems. These could include raw materials, packaging and indirect spends. You must have led purchasing teams and can show how you were able to develop new skills within your staff, improving standards and bottom line return. In addition, you need to be well versed in supply base management, being able to develop close working partnerships to secure the best price and product quality. The Planning function will also come under the remit of this role so exposure to both production and capacity planning would be highly desirable.
