Hygiene Manager

Job Description

With responsibility for a significantly sized internal hygiene team across more than one site, the emphasis on selection for this appointment will be excellent people management and coaching skills. You will, of course, need to be adept at delivering hygiene standards for food manufacturers that not only meet but exceed expectations and enjoy the challenge of driving improvements continuously through your team. You will set and deliver the hygiene budget, initiate cost savings; meet regularly with various departments to communicate scheduled cleaning tasks, manage external/specialist contractors e.g. waste removal, chemical, pest control, etc., and overall operational H&S. This role provides an opportunity to really make your mark in a business that enjoys a high profile amongst a number of the country's major food retailers, so hygiene management in the food sector is essential.
