Our client needs an enthusiastic, committed and progressive NPD Technologist. The role will involve innovating and developing new products to give the desired margin for both the customer and the business. Responsibilities will include preparing samples, working on blue sky innovation as well as restoration, helping launch all products and working with sales and marketing and factory colleagues to launch innovative products that make a difference.

You will gain valuable customer involvement and have a sound knowledge of the market place. You will need to be aware of changes in factory processes that may affect ongoing development and obviously food trends. The ideal candidate will have experience of a complex NPD environment, must be ambitious and have long-term goals. An ability to work under pressure is vital.
