GMP

GMP is a popular abbreviation for the term good manufacturing practice. This is an auditing process whereby product quality and hygiene are assessed across a factory to reduce any possible risks. This is particularly common in the food and drink manufacturing industry as hygiene has to of the utmost standard to prevent contamination of products that could pass through to the consumer.
