Bel UK provides stand up comedy for cows

Bel UK will be using a multi-platform marketing campaign including social media and television adverts to re-launch The Laughing Cow cheese triangle.

Comedian Milton Jones has been enlisted to perform a stand up routine in front of a field of cows to try to prove that cows actually can laugh. The "Pull The Udder One" campaign will feature video footage on a new Laughing Cow website and Facebook page and also via a YouTube channel.

There will also be a new TV advert entitled "High Farm" featuring animated characters from the farm including The Laughing Cow herself. The characters will be demonstrating different stages in the cheese making process from collecting milk to producing wheels of cheese triangles.

Fiona Riches, Senior Brand Manger at Bel UK, stated:

"Beginning with the 'Pull the Udder One' digital campaign, followed by the launch of the 'High Farm' ad; we'll be engaging with consumers on a scale not previously seen by the brand and will ensure that The Laughing Cow is front of consumers' minds in store."
