Diet Coke unveils new packaging
Coca Cola are redesigning the packaging on their popular Diet Coke product.
The new design features the original silver labelling with black and white writing, but also includes a series of 'lipstick kisses' and a promotional partnership with fashion retailer ASOS.
The simple promotion gives buyers the opportunity to win a series of vouchers between £100 and £10 by entering a code found on the back.
The Diet Coke puppets that have featured on a number of past Diet Coke adverts have been used again to advertise the on-pack promotion between the leading drinks manufacturer and the fashion retailer.
Whilst the product packaging has been partially redesigned, Diet Coke have kept their unmistakable logo and the theme of the packaging still remains the same - as to hold on to any brand associations that have been developed over the past.
This new promotional material and partnership with ASOS is hoped to drive sales of Diet Coke whilst also making associations between the brand and fashion - an association that could allow Diet Coke to prosper and develop growth in the future.
