Healthy options available from Rimon Pomegranate Juice and Genius Bakery
Two new products have been launched which emphasise a shift toward the healthier choices that consumers are demanding. Rimon 100% Pomegranate Juice is high in antioxidants, which have been seen to lower the risk of heart disease and cancer. Genius have launched a Gluten Free Bakery Range in order to provide an option for consumers who are either gluten intolerant or who feel that bread containing gluten leaves them feeling tired and bloated.
Newly Launched Rimon Focuses on Health Trade
Newly launched Rimon 100% Pure Pomegranate Juice is now available exclusively to the UK health trade through The Health Store and other selected wholesalers.
The premium juice, which is sourced exclusively from Israeli pomegranates, is higher in antioxidants than other brands, recording an average of over 5000 µmol TE/g in recent independent ORAC tests.
UK distributor Moshel Ltd said: "The high antioxidant capacity of Rimon is the main reason we have focused on distribution in the health trade.
"In addition, the authentic, 'freshly squeezed' pomegranate taste and premium ambient glass packaging, with up to one year's shelf life, make it a particularly attractive offering to health store customers who are also discerning about quality and dislike wastage."
Genius Launches New Gluten Free Bakery Range
Genius Foods has launched a new bakery range that is completely gluten free.
The Genius bakers have been testing new recipes to bring to shelf the new range of fresh, gluten-free options designed to make it easier for consumers to find gluten free options.
Whilst the choice for people with a gluten intolerance, Genius Foods also hope to appeal to those looking to cut down gluten as a lifestyle choice - known to reduce bloating and increase energy levels.
When Genius asked consumers what they wanted, the answer was 'more bakery choice.'
Launching to be consumed on a number of meal occasions, Genius' new free products hope to answer this request and give the brand more prominence on shelf.
New Genius teacakes are made with mixed spice, cinnamon and currants, suggested served toasted as part of an afternoon tea.
Genius is also launching a gluten-free fruit loaf as part of its new bakery range.
The new seeded loaf and brown and white rolls complete the range, offering consumers a staple food they can re-introduce to their diets.
