Lurpak Launch Olive Oil Spread and Adesso Offer New Range of Marinades and Dips

This Summer has ushered in a wave of new olive oil based food products. Adesso have launched a range of dips and marinades including Lemon and Herb Marinade and Raspberry Vinaigrette. These can be used for salads or as dips. Lurpak have released Spreadable Lighter with Olive Oil to add variety to dairy spreads.

Lurpak Expands Offering with New Olive Spread

Lurpak, the UK based BSM (Butters, Spreads and Margarines) brand from Arla Foods, has announced the launch of new Lurpak Spreadable Lighter with Olive Oil.

Available from the end of July, the brand will be expanding its butter offering into the Olive Spreads market, currently worth £64m, providing consumers with more choice in the dairy aisle.

The brands latest NPD comprises of Lurpak Spreadable Lighter made with 15% Olive Oil.

Lurpak Spreadable Lighter with Olive Oil will be available to retailers in a 500g tub format with a MRRP of £2.98.

Lurpak Spreadable Lighter with Olive Oil in being launched to offer retailers an opportunity to grow sales of the popular brand, worth £259m, and capitalise on the trend for healthier dairy products.

The launch of Lurpak's Spreadable Lighter with Olive Oil product builds on the brands 'Good Food Deserves' campaign, launched at the end of last year, which promotes the importance of using ingredients and taking the time to prepare food at home.

Adesso Unveils New Range of Marinades, Dips and Drizzles

Adesso Foods have created a range of Marinades, Dips and Drizzles using only natural ingredients.

They are additive-free, gluten-free, and suitable for vegetarians.

The products combine Extra Virgin Olive Oil with herbs, spices, honey and citrus juices, to create flavours designed to maintain the moisture of food, penetrating it with subtlety enhancing natural flavours.

The range, designed to be versatile, has a wide variety of uses including:-

Marinades for fish, meats and vegetables

Dressings and drizzles on salads and foods

A dip for crudités, meats (such a chicken wings), breadsticks and bread

Raspberry Vinaigrette - Extra Virgin olive oil combined with raspberry vinegar, mustard and oregano.

Classic Sicilian - A natural salad dressing created from Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil, aged balsamic vinegar together with oregano and seasoning.
