34 jobs under threat at frozen food storage centre in Boston

MORE than half the jobs at a frozen food and storage distribution centre in Boston are under threat.

Pinguin Foods has announced that 34 of the 55 staff at its Marsh Lane site could lose their jobs. The Belgian-owned firm has given staff a 90-day notice of redundancy blaming competitive market conditions but says it hopes the final figure will be lower.
