Food Jobs created in Ireland
Supermac's, one the burger chain's operating in Ireland, has announced that it will create 50 jobs to coincide with its investment in a new facility in Moneygall. In addition to these, over 70 more jobs will be created during the stages of building the site.
This brings Supermac's employment within Ireland to over 2,500 and
adds another facility to its already impressive 103 outlets across
Ireland.
The new site, due to open early 2012, is planned to be built
alongside the M7 motorway between Limerick and Dublin. The 12 acre
site is designed to be a fully functional motorway services with
fuel, a grocery/convenience store along with the Supermac's and a
Papa John's Pizza restaurant.
Any employment in a time of negative press surrounding
unemployment is a good sign, and Supermac's are willing to shout
about their commitment in bringing employment to the area. "We hope
to provide much needed employment and an economic boost by
attracting visitors to Moneygall."
This new development is one of many as Supermac's have plans to
open further outlets across Ireland throughout the remainder of
2011.
