Pizza Hut to double Delivery Outlets by 2020
High Street giants Pizza Hut have announced plans to double the number of delivery outlets in the UK by 2020. This will create around 5,000 new full time and part time jobs across the country.
The online service, Pizza Hut Delivery, provides the convenience of home delivery via the website where users can store their personal information and location for easy ordering. Although there are currently over 300 outlets in the UK, not all areas provide the delivery service. The company aims to increase the area covered by providing around 700 locations by 2020.
By opening 30 to 40 new facilities each year Pizza Hut will provide thousands of new jobs in management, finance and marketing.
Business Director Mark Fox commented,
"Customers have responded to the simple fact that we deliver great tasting pizzas, quickly, at great value. We've experienced significant sales growth in the last two years, and we're bullish about our prospects of continued success as we expand our estate."
