New Product Development Manager

The Product Manager controls the development process from concept through to launch by means of excellent project management skills, and is directly accountable for Development Technologists.

Process Technologist

Process Technologists investigate, evaluate and challenge the constraints of the existing manufacturing processes and equipment available in the manufacturing environment. They then develop solutions and recommend corrective actions and improvements to overcome any limitations or shortcomings of available resources and existing processes. Such improvement contributes directly to the success of food manufacturing businesses and involves communication and mediation between the manufacturing and engineering teams.

NPD Technologist

The NPD Technologist communicates directly with retailers to infuse new concepts and ideas into their product range, and is responsible for driving trials through the factory and building relationships with the key individuals involved in the process.

Development Technologist

A Development Technologist, liaises with the customer to create a brief and then follows the product through to launch. Responsibilities include management of initial costings and attending all factory trials in order to provide feedback to relevant departments, so excellent communication skills are essential for success within this position.
