Head of Buying

The Head of Buying will manage and control all aspects of the supply chain with responsibility for purchasing, materials management and logistics. The Head of Buying should have extensive purchasing experience, ideally in the food manufacturing sector.

Purchasing Manager

The Purchasing Manager will work closely with the planning and production teams to deliver short shelf life products from suppliers to the site for further processing. The Purchasing Manager is expected to have excellent negotiating skills in order to successfully manage all supplier contracts.

Procurement Manager

The Procurement Manager will ensure all goods supplied to the business meet the standards required to provide a good service to the production teams. Good negotiating skills are required for this position, as the Procurement Manager must maximize gross profit margins.

Buyer

A Buyer's main responsibility will be to secure stable sourcing channels and build up long term relationships with suppliers. Ensuring complete order fulfillment to achieve 100% customer service delivery, and maximizing value for money are also key aspects of the Buyer role.
