How much are you worth?
If we got a pound every time we are asked this - we would be worth a lot. You might think your £30k-£40k-£50k or £100k salary marks you out as the rising star - but does it really? What if you discover the mean salary for your level of responsibility is £10k more than that? So often, looking at base salary can be a very top line view, as people tend to ignore total remuneration value of their package - pension value, bonus level, company car/car allowance, private health care, amongst many other added perks.
To bring some objective clarity to the subject, Focus Management
Consultants has prepared a whitepaper on current salaries in the
Food and Drink industry. The comprehensive document breaks
down key functions by job level and highlights the average salary
for each job title.
It presents the information in a logical and easy to use
structure. We hope to provide the employers in the food and drink
industry with a clearer view of what they should be paying to
attract and retain high calibre staff, and also what you should be
earning as a candidate.
The whitepaper will be available for download from the Focus Management website in March 2012.
